great book that makes you think about the actions of our society and the possible effects for the future. Good wins out over selfishness!

Before we were yours

A story about improper, if not illegal, adoption, written with chapters alternating between the past and the present day. You grew to care deeply about the characters and by half way through, I was hooked. Difficult to understand how adults could treat children and use them to their benefit . A fairly quick read.
