Whilst I didn't hate this book I have to say it really wasn't what I was expecting. Once I got past that it was an ok read, but more suited to young adults. There were aspects of it that I did enjoy, it was humorous and rather sweet, although a little cloying at times. It really could have done with some fleshing out to make it a bit more believable.

For me it was a bit like a Disney movie for kids, which is fine, and many of us adults enjoy those sort of movies. I guess what I'm trying to say is this is a sweet, easy read, nothing more and nothing less. A good first effort by the author but just don't expect it to be more than that. I think my expectations were too high based on all the hype - and that's not the author's fault. Many will enjoy this book for sure, but it just wasn't for me.

A great book. The language is somewhat colorful and graphic but it adds to the story.
