It was interesting reading a book that consists entirely of letters. I loved the WWII history provided as part of the narrative. Had never read a book with this "angle" before. Book had an overall light and fun pace. Every character had distinct personalities that came across in their letters. Really enjoyed it.

This book provides so much opportunity for discussion. It's character rich, has great writing, and is incredibly insightful (even after 200+ years).
