The Geography of Bliss

This book was voted as our first book to read and I will admit that I was slightly disapointed as it is not something I would typically read. But I was pleasently surprised. I ended up really enjoying the entire book and at times couldn't put it down. The author is interesting and really funny. It made for great discussion as it was full of information and thought provoking topics.

I Don't Know How She Does It

This could potentially be a good book club book, depending on the group that is meeting. We only had one person who is a mother and she probably enjoyed the book the most because she could relate the best. It was a fairly easy book to read but the plot did not seem to go anywhere. There was not a whole lot to discuss at our book club meeting because the book did not offer a lot. Many people did not finish the book. I enjoyed her writing style but did not feel as if I could connect with the character very well.

The Paris Wife

Not everyone in our club made it all the way through, but there were positive reviews from everyone that even picked it up! This leads to great discussion because there is so much you learn about the history of it all.
