My Reviews
I came accross this book while searching for a book for my bookclub, I didn't think the members would enjoy it, but I wanted to read it myself....I can not determine exactly how I feel about this book. At first I thought it was somewhat boring and complicated, but I tried to continue reading. As I continued to read, it became more interesting. The fact that the author changes narrators and time frames kept me interested. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. It was a fairly good read.
This book made me feel all kinds of emotions...sad, mad, happy, jealousy.....great read!
I thought this book would be more of a continuation of The Coldest Winter Ever from Midnight's perspective, but it was not. It was slow at times, but I enjoyed it.
Great read! Very well-written, I like the method used to tell the story. Good job Chevy! :-)
I just could not get into the book, neither could my bookclub members. No one finished the book so we didn't discuss it. I don't have any negative remarks about the style...the story was too dark for me to want to continue.
I enjoyed the book, but I feel it is more for personal casual reading, not for a book club discussion.
