My Reviews
I liked it. Interesting family dynamics with losing parents so early in life.
Book was fantastic. How sad that people actually believed some of the things that were mentioned.
Fantastic Story. A little sad at the beginning- found myself crying as I read that part. After getting through that, ( not very much) I could not put the book down. Both intertwinning stories were gripping, and I could not wait to see what happened next.
Excellent book. Best one I've read in a while. Once I started I could not put it down.
As an Air Force wife, I could relate to the stories. As my husband retired from the AF 15 yrs ago, it brought back a lot of memories. I had totally forgotten about the playing of retreat at 5:00 PM every day, and the requirement to stop until it is over, including pulling your car over.
There was not one thing that I thought "that would never happen". Very realistic portayal of life on a military base.
The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars, is that I would have liked to see how some of the stories were resolved.
To many good books out there to waste time on book like this.
I forced myself to finish this book. It was boring, had characters that did not inspire any sympathy. Did not have a plot.
