Takes place over many decades and two countries oceans apart with several key figures and, although it was interesting, I found it confusing and needed to go back to clarify who was where at what time.

Loved it, I'm totally sucked in! Deborah Harkness has created characters who live in a world where witches, vampires, and daemons exist and recognize each other. She weaves these brilliant creatures into present day and also gives us history of both worlds to enlighten and delight us. The evolving romance is captivating and when I finished the book I wanted more. So glad to find out there will be more.
