I procrastinated picking this book up until 4 days before our book club meeting, because I was certain that I wouldn't like it since I don't have any interest in war type stories and am not fond of history related books. I have to admit that I was sooo wrong to pre-judge it, because I LOVED IT!! The more I read, the harder it was to put the book down. It was inspiring and humbling; it's amazing what these people lived through - I had no idea. It was very well written and I highly recommend this book to anyone!!
