Skeletons at the Feast

A compelling story of an old Prussian family - especially the women - coming face to face with the brutality that was WWII. The war is up close and personal primarily through the eyes of a civilian family. The story stays with you long after the last page is turned.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

Little boy in camp and doctor/waiter also prisoner only redeeming characters in book. A very horrible subject was treated in most unrealistic way.
Wonderful book for varied and rather heated discussion on how the holocaust represented.
