It could have been half the length. It was actually too detailed and I have never said that before about a book. It did not keep my attention. I felt my mind wandering while I read.
This is the stuff Christmas is made of. I was sad to finish the book. I loved every single story!
The writing is beautiful. It feels like you are right there in the book with the characters. I was sad when the book ended because I was enjoying it so much.
Picks up right where Shanghai Girls leaves off. The characters are well developed and the story engulfs you in an adventure with the characters where you feel their emotions and feel as though you are right there with them. Fabulous writing!
I loved it and read the rest of the books in the series. Now I am waiting for the one that is due to come out in 2014! Great story, good development of characters, and I can see this series of books being turned into a movie or a tv mini-series
An amazing story of survival. I will never forget this story and Marina will always be a hero to me.
