Adventurous, Interesting, Informative
Intertaining with strong (overdone?) charactersI would recommend this historical fiction novel to a reader for entertainment outside of their typical genre. The story and plot line were interesting and, at times, comical, romantic, emotional, inspiring, and depressing. Some of the characters were over-written or bold, but the heroine was endearing.
If I Stay (If I Stay, Book 1) by Gayle Forman
Dramatic, Inspiring, Beautiful
Maybe 15 years ago...I would have found this book romantic and thought provoking, but unfortunately, the book was a bit shallow and weak. The characters were campy and the "choice" that the main character made lacked conviction and heart.
