My Reviews
I found it difficult to get through the beginning and I found the intro a little confusing. There are also a lot of characters in this book, so I frequently found myself going back to the Vanger family tree. I'm happy I stuck with it though, cause I found the rest of the book addictive (I couldn't put it down) - I'm almost through the second book in the trilogy and it is equally excellent.
I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this book. It was well writing and the concept of a story unfolding through letters between the characters was very different and well done. It's a very easy read and not long to get through. I didn't find the story all that exciting or memorable, so for those reasons I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I enjoyed the second book even more than the first as it answered many questions about Lisbeth's childhood. It's a thick book, but it goes quickly as you never want to put it down.
