The Book ThiefTheme of literacy and power of the written and spoken word is worthy enough reason to discuss this book. Also, gives an insight into lives of rescuers and bystanders during the Holocaust.

The Millennium TrilogyQuite addicitive. Our group had a lively discussion with the first book. At that time our main controversy was "who was the Main character, Lisbeth or Mikael?" We have now read all three books. Sadly, Larssen will not be continuing these characters.
