Lionel Shriver's book offered hours of discussion for our group. From expections of motherhood from society to personal feelings as mothers. Well written, beautiful use of language. Characters and story drawn so the reader rode the ride.

Informative, Interesting, Insightful
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

Exceedingly well written. A science story written in true Creative Non-fiction form. Skloot brings to life the subjects of this story. Her compassionate and non-judgmental presentation both informs and intrigues the reader. Enjoyable read.
