A well written book that develops characters, tells a wonderful story and evokes emotions. I would recommend this book to everyone. We read it for our book group and everyone loved it!!!
What characters!!! It was a fantastic story of twins and the characterizations of all of the characters are carefully laid out at the beginning of the book and then built upon. It made for a wonderful read. I felt I knew the characters.

I am an avid mystery reader. This was a great book that every parent would dread being in Jacob's parents position. It was hard to put down as I kept wanting to find out what was going to happen to Jacob. Ending was very interesting and not expected.
I received this as a free book for my book club from Pauline Book Movement. We are reading this for book club in July. A few of us finished it already and found it to be an easy ready novel that gave a lot of information about Egypt during WWII that we did not know. It was fun watching the three main characters come together for the climax of the book.
