I loved this book for the simplicity of it, although I felt it ended a little hastily. There was little discussion about what it means to love

This was very enjoyable read, easy to get through. A little displeased about the character development of William, but as he is not a main character, I got over it.

I wish the book had spent more time on the main character being able to "see herself naked." I loved the family dynamics though, very realistic.

Orphan is in prison for killing her captor, then gets second chance to live by becoming the commander's food taster

I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy. It borders on teen fiction but is easily an adult read as well.
