This story could have almost been unbelievable if not for the similarities to a college friend's family. Although much of the story was frustrating to read, I couldn't put the book down.

This story is as good as The Kite Runner. I loved it

I thoroughly enjoyed both reading and discussing this book. We decided that there were two stories here; a love story and a story about the women's movement. I recommend it to other groups.

We chose this book upon recommendation from another book club following Ted Kennedy's death. Initially, I wasn't sure if I was going to learn anything new about the Kennedy family, but I was wrong. I found that I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to read about America's "royal family". Surprisingly, I loved the book and so did most of our club.
