I LOVED this book! The fairy tales that were expertly woven into this story were so beautiful and such a dramatic touch. I highly recommend this book to any and all book clubs.
Book was hard to follow in some places. Seemed disjointed in spots. I thought the overall theme was good but had a hard time following the story line at points throughout the book. Some of the character lines were not strong enough for me.
Book was hard to read, story seemed disjointed at times.
The book lead to a great discussion. The flow of the book was good and the plot was interesting and captive. We liked the authors added touch at the end of the book telling readers some addition insight on some of the main characters.
The beginning of the book was difficult to follow the characters and the chapters pertaining to them. The book flowed better towards the middle and end. It was interesting to hear the author talk about the character development at the end of the book and the factual references to people in the book.
Just a nice easy book to read, that all the club members enjoyed.
The book was well written. Enjoyed the writer's style and was easy to read. The information and content were informative and the information given on the subject was tastefully handled. We liked the books original cover better than the flyer insert. We would recommend this book to other book clubs.
I found the information interesting and informative at times. The pace of the book was a struggle for me and was slow moving. It provided a vast amount of factual information that could be engaging for those who have a interest in the field of women aviators.
