This book has so witty and touching I couldn't put it down. I will never look at my own dog the same again.
Our book club just finished reading this and everyone either loved it or hated it, there was no middle ground here which made for a lively discussion. Our group rates books on a scale of 1-10 and gave this a 6.5.
Our group is normally split on which books we like but this was a thumbs up from everyone. Very inspiring with characters you really want to know.
This is a fun book if you are looking for a break from some more serious novels. Half our group do not normally read "beach books" but the discussion ended up being one of our funnest meetings.
Being from Milwaukee I especially enjoyed this book. It felt like I was transported back to my own childhood.
Half way through I tried to read slower just to make the story last longer.
