Probably the most discussed book during a book club meeting.
This book was the overall favorite for the year. Have never met anyone who didn't like it.
A great read for historical fiction. At times disturbing and sad.
A little slow in the beginning. However, a wonderful book to read. Interesting and insightful.

The book grabbed my attention in the beginning, however at times was slow. The last 100 pages was very good. However it is a very long book. 688 pages. At times the book was predictable and other times a little far fetched. Overall I liked it. Not one of my favorites.
