Was informative. Well written except for order of events.
Olive reminded me of my grandmother in ways I had forgotten
I like the way Jeanette Walls write. I have a tough time putting down her books. I loved Glass Castle also.

It was a book I did not want to put down. The most interesting characters and wonderful personalities.
Did not keep my interest as I had hoped. Was dark and didn't know the characters as well as I would have liked to.

Hard to put down
Every chapter was about a different person and did not tie together until the end.
We felt it was as good or better than The Help. Was hard to put down.
As a parent you really are tested as to how you would handle this situation and how far do you go when not sure what really happened. I had great empathy for this family and yet many concerns as to how they would get through this troubled time.
