Book Club Recommended
Interesting, Dramatic, Romantic
Brilliant writing

Mansfield Park is one of Jane Austen's best books, with beautiful prose and interesting characters. It's not as entertaining as P & P, Emma, S & S. The first half is somewhat tough reading, but it's worth it. Jane was at the peak of her craft when she wrote it- deeply thoughtful.

Interesting, Insightful, Informative
The Killing Time

A fascinating real story with lots of juicy detail. Well-researched and written. Really makes you think about the how the justice system can be dysfuctional for people who have no education or support. I was absorbed in this story from beginning to end and it changed the way I think of the world. Makes for very good book club discussion.
