Perfect summer reading - take it on vacation - light reading but thought provoking. Would one of your friends (old or just had met) take on your "bucket list"? And if so would he/she find out more about his/herself than about you? These questions are answered in Jill's delightful book. I'm taking this book along on a family vacation to share with others.
Story of love, hate, trust, fidelity and infidelity. . . even after having just finished it - I\'m not sure how I feel about it. Set just after World War II (1946)
through the late 1964\'s, author looks at the marriages of 2 cousins, Nick and Helena, the children from them and their family\'s drama. Told from several different points of view, I found this book confusing, with a creepy vein running through it that does reveal itself slowly by the story\'s end.
