This is a great book and while you read it, you want Cee Cee Wilkes to turn out OK, you feel for her and her love for her family. And as a parent, you understand her love for her daughter. But if you step aside from the book and really think about it...you cringe at the thought of what she did to get that family that she loves so much...
This book provokes great discussion among book club members.
I read a lot, and I usually forget the book as soon I start another one. But I will never forget this one. Kate Morton does an incredible job telling the story from all the main characters. It's unpredictable and moving, it's happy and it's sad and it's beautiful all at the same time.
I loved this book! And its been a while since I could really say that, but it's true! This book is so beautiful and true to life. The characters are well developed and could be any one of us at any time in our lives. You are sure to get hooked....but don't forget your tissues!
