A story about a time of history that was pretty horrible, but this was about something I had never heard before. I was hesitant to read it at first because I knew it was about the persecution of the Jews, but since it was our book club's choice for December, I started it about a week before our meeting. I read it all in the same day! It is a book you cannot put down. Very enjoyable. A great story about a terrible period of time.
