The Vow: A Novel by Denene Millner, Angela Burt-Murray, Mitzi Miller
 
The book was a look at the journey of 3 women as they come to learn more about themselves and their dreams.

I enjoyed the book. I could relate to the characters' dream of wanting more than a successful career. It was an easy read with a few surprises and somewhat predictable ending.

Gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson
 
Dramatic, Fun, Dark
A woman is confronted with her past. She has to make some difficult decisions. But deally with the past may be the only way she can move on to the future.

The book was an easy read. However, I found the characters' reactions to situations to be unrealistic. And, the development of the characters was not fully completed.
