What if ...

What an intriguing book that explores (as historical fiction) that \\\"what if\\\" Anne Boleyn had had a son, William. He\\\'s 17, takes the throne, and that\\\'s the jumping off point for this mystery/drama book. Loved this book! Can\\\'t wait for her next one to come out in November!

Informative, Interesting, Insightful
Fast read

Fast read. Good for book group discussion because it sparked discussion around each person's heritage, the beginnings of social services in this country, and how the riders of the Orphan Train were in some ways treated similarly to slaves (inspected before taking home, treated poorly) vs what they would have faced living alone on the streets of NYC

Poorly Written
there were some things I learned, but...

I learned some things about George H.W. Bush from this book, and am glad that I persevered to finish it. Toward the end it really became a platform for George W Bush ("43") to talk about his presidency.
Also, not very well written - too many sentences that started with "And…"
