This is not normally my type of book. It reminded me of the movie Beaches. Two friends who are very different and their journey through life. Thankfully the last half of the book was better than the first. It was enjoyable.

I liked this book, but having said that is was slow moving and somewhat uneventful. You could see that this is realistic, but didn't have that much of an impact. Needed more of a punch to it.
