My Reviews
At the completion of this book my initial reaction was, "What's the point?". However, once we started to discuss the book at book club I realized there might be more to it than I thought. There are epitaphs at the beginning of each chapter which I overlooked when reading but may be the key to understanding the character of that chapter.
This book takes a hysterical approach to all the craziness of the Christmas season. Some parts induced out loud laughter! Enjoy!
Paula Hawkins draws the reader in after the first page. Written as a puzzle to put together it keep the reader enthralled to the end. The issues faced by the characters had a dark tint to the story.
This story captivated me to the very end. I had to read it a second time so that I could be close to the characters once again. Delia Owens breaths life into Kya’s surrounding creating a picture so vivid you can easily place yourself there. Highly recommend!
