My Reviews
A powerful and emotional firsthand account journey unfolds as the reader joins Chaplain Cash and the Marines of 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment in Iraq. I've never been keen on reading military history but this is DEFINITELY the exception - once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. It is impossible not to connect and be drawn into the lives and daily experiences of these Marines. I laughed, I cried, I waited with anticipation to see how God was revealing himself in the midst of war. It left me in awe of God's greatness, mercy, and love; deep gratitude for our dedicated Service Members. If you've ever questioned where God is in the midst of war, this is a book you'll want to read.
