I thought the book was dull and written in a boring tone. It was difficult to tell the difference in the voices of each character. I would not recommend it. There are too many other wonderful books to waste your time reading this one.
Don't waste your time. This book is nothing like the title or the preview on the back. The most interesting character in the book is her murdered sister who the author only begins to talk about 3/4 of the way in the book and even then does not do a good job of it. The book offered no insight or support or help to those who have or are experiencing abuse in any form. The author was self absorbed. Everyone in our bookclub thought it was terrible.
