Queen of the Road is a fun yet thought provoking book. How many of us would be willing to "take a year off" to travel the country? How would we cope with the drastic change in lifestyle?
A great summer read!
Definately not a good choice for a book club. Perhaps an interesting read for someone who is fascinated in wine making history and technique. I did find the historical information interesting however I was looking for more of a story about the famous lady..
Excellent choice for a book club. Lots to talk about. Interesting main theme and lots of "sub plots" to discuss.
Each character makes an impact and causes you to think about what will happen to her/him in the future.
All I can say is WOW!! This book is a must read. The tale that
the author weaves is simply incredible. There are so many sub plots that your book club will need an extra long session to cover them all! As I got into the book I realized that I was going to have to put my personal beliefs on the "back burner" and by the end of the book I said to myself.........."well, hmmm, maybe! anything is possible!!!"
Read it to find out what I'm talking about. You WILL enjoy this one!
A good read with lots to talk about. Makes you appreciate all the freedom and liberty we have.... and often take for granted!
