A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon

Dramatic, Fun
George finds a spot on his hip to focus all his anxiety on while his family starts to fall apart on the brink of his daughter's second marriage. It all comes together.....sort of.

I really enjoy this read. Readers please do not be put off if you don't enjoy British writing because this story is so elequently written you will fall in love with it instantly. The characters are well developed and flawed like all good human beings are. Cheerio to Haddon for this great heart warming and hilarious story.

I do caution there are a couple of graphic sex scenes but nothing worse than an HBO series.

I really enjoyed this book even though it did take me the first 30-50 pages to really get into it. At first the main character comes off as a bit negative, but then the real story/plot begins and it is excellent. Grab the tissues near the end.
