Informative, Graphic, Confusing
The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao

I enjoyed the book -- I didn't know much about the Dominican Republic before reading it. The culture combined with the interesting use of time (past and present) kept me engaged. The varying point of view was a challenge to follow.

 
Insightful, Interesting, Fun
Not engaging to me

This book wasn't interesting enough to get me into it. I was not intrigued by her life -- just saddened about it.
