This was such a unique book! I enjoyed reading every bit of it. I love finding a book that is written in a new and unexpected way. I have read many books about the Holocaust, but none that gave such a poignant view from both sides of the fight.

This was one of the first books we read as a club. It was an eye-opener to all of us concerning the lives of women in China. It was told in a beautiful and sympathetic way.
