My Reviews

The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue

Graphic, Gloomy, Dark
Odd mix of fantasy, fairy tale, and childhood trauma

Well written, interesting, but incredibly depressing. A story similar to the lost boys from Peter Pan, but much darker and twisted.

Difficult, Slow, Dark
Painful read

This was a depressing book about horrible people (three generations of them) that did wicked things. They showed little remorse and seemed to revel at each new atrocity.
