The book was definately not what I expected! However, it was a fast read that kept me in one spot. Definately lots of sex, but an interesting storyline as well. Wasn't sure where it was going, but I was along for the ride.
I bought this book because of the description on the back and it immediately sounded familiar. "Did I see this movie?" I asked myself. No! I already owned it and had read it! LOL!!!! Thus started my love affair with Harlan Coben...
If you haven't read the Outlander series, you need to. But, start with Outlander. What a fantastic journey of time-travel, historical fiction, and romance. I can't wait for the next one!
There was really nothing to discuss. I can see where some people would find the information interesting, but not a good pick for a discussion group.
I loved this book! Having Enzo narrate is a brilliant way to tell the story! I've already started talking to my dog like he's a person. Hopefully he'll reach the next stage too!!!!
This book is a fast, easy, and enjoyable read. You get a snippet of each character's life. It shows how all people have problems that they need to deal with/overcome but how most people are able to overcome and move on without becoming dysfunctional. We had the most animated discussion our group has ever had!
This book is interesting, but a VERY slow read. I think the author got caught up on trying to be "too literary" and forgot people are actually reading this book. There were several points where the story could have ended, but did not. I read a lot of books and was unable to finish this book in a month without having any other books going.
