Makes you think

At first I was sad to read about a woman who is manic but as I read further, I became interested in how she lived her life and how Nancy and her siblings survived. I was glad to learn that Lola is still alive and full of life.

If I only could, I would

I admire the guts it took to pack it all in for a year and travel. I would love to have the opportunity to do it too. Doreen's writing style is easy to read and her humor is wonderful as she is able to make fun of herself.
