Fun book. Easy to follow, but still thought provoking.
I really enjoyed this book (as did others in my book club)! The author takes her families tragedy and tells it in such a way that I was intrigued by this book and the "character" of Ms. Bachrach's mother. It is a great book club book b/c it can open up many discussions. I did not find this book to be "dark", as the previous reviewer thought.
This was a great book club book! I would be crying, and next thing I knew I would be laughing out loud! The author did a great job balancing these emotions and keeping the book positive. I also loved the development of Henry's 3 sisters -- I think everyone can see a little bit of themselves in each of Henry's sisters, and if they are lucky, they will see a little bit of themselves in Henry too!
