This book did not lend itself to a very good discussion. So much that happens seems unrealistic. We were disappointed because our group read Elizabeth Noble's book The Reading Group and we enjoyed that book much more.

 
Dark, Dramatic, Difficult
We Need To Talk About Kevin

One thing that was very distracting about this book was that the author used every "big" word that she possibly could have and this became distracting/annoying. Overall the book was such an incredibly emotional read. It does make for a good discussion.
