Extremely well written; an incredible epic story; characters that literally rise up and walk off the pages. How did 168 conquistadors conquer an empire of 10 million? You will find out in these pages--will meet fascinating characters like Francisco Pizarro and the Inca emperor, Atahulpa, and will learn a great deal about the Inca Empire to boot. A big book--but nevertheless a fast read--I was glued to my seat the entire time. This book will make you want to go to Peru and Machu Picchu on the next available flight!
