The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

Insightful, Dramatic, Inspiring

Fourteen year old girl in SC in the 1960's- trying to learn about her deceased mother and in the process finds the love she is in desperate need of.

Great read, and the discussion questions included are perfect.
Our book club took about an hour- we limited the questions to ten.

The Myth of You and Me: A Novel by Leah Stewart

Easy read, author goes back and forth from the present to ten years prior, and then back even further. Story of two high school girlfriends who abruptly end their friendship due to a betrayal.

Sometimes the author confuses us with her past and present settings. Some of the scenarios are hard to believe.
