My Reviews
Weak reimagining of the goddess Circe. Attempt to humanize her fell short in that it took her too long to come into herself. She appears to only have become truly her own through the love of another.
I enjoyed this book overall. The concept was good. I was hooked in the beginning. The main character became weak as the book continued. The ending is possibly the worst ever.
This book begins slow and at times is quite confusing. Stick with it, you’ll be hooked if for no reason other than just needing to know who’s who and what horrible deeds have they committed. Everyone in this book is a terrible person! But there comes a point where you don’t want to stop reading until you’ve found out where the true evil comes from.
A 19th century luthier has a secret. A lost love and a violin that he made for her. The violin is passed down from virtuoso to virtuoso as the years go by telling its story until finds three new friends who can set it free.
