If not for book club, I would have never discovered this book. I enjoyed the daughter’s search for her mom through her travels abroad. And I love a romantic, happy ending.

I was in awe of the wife’s patience and love for her husband, who had a secret life, and his daughter. I was happy to see the daughter loved her and called her “mom” at the end - but was disappointed that her husband did not return to her.
