How to Say Babylon: A Memoir by Safiya Sinclair

Brilliant, Inspiring, Beautiful

This was a lyrical memoir of a Poet, growing up in a strict Rastafarian home in Jamaica. Her father ruled the home with strict control over her childhood and that of her siblings. She found her own voice as a teenager and Poet. Safia has a magical way of writing and I loved this book!
