Evelyn was a villain in her own story. She was a martyr and many of the tragedies she endured were at the cost of her own actions. TJR always develops her characters beautifully so many of the “twists” were foreshadowed quite nicely if you were paying attention. Didn’t figure out the plot twist with the dad, but knew it had to do with him somehow.
