I love Kristin Hannah but this book was not my favorite. It was interesting perspective about war and you learn about the struggles of returning veterans but this one seemed like the struggle was far too long. The ending was great but the middle was not worth the hype.
This was such a unique book!! The story/life of the main character is incredibly sad but has a great trunaround. The book is phenomenally written and you feel like you're reading someone's journal account. Bittersweet story but a great telling.
This was a cute story about loss and new beginnings! The dynamic of the characters were fun and easy to picture yourself right with them. I love the unique way the author adds the octopus as a main character. Very cute!
I loved this book and was so sad when I finished it! Amazing story and beautifully sad but still shows the resilience people have during times of war. Bittersweet in the best way. I can't wait for the movie but I know the book will always be better.
I thought this would be a fun book about Hollywood and their above average lifestyle but this was far from it. Instead it was about a secret life disguised by Hollywood antics.
