Loved this book. I liked how strong Belle was during an era when so much could have gone wrong and had a totally different outcome for her and her family. I enjoy learning about history/individuals I knew nothing about until reading the book.
This book never had an aha moment. I kept thinking it would take hold and grab me, but it never did.

This was a book that if I was reading it nit in a book club I would have stopped after a couple chapters. I found the main character annoying and wasn’t very interested. But as you should in book club, I just kept reading and about 1/2 way through I was understanding Britt and it all came together. I finished the book and can say I really enjoyed it.
I had no idea the story of the Post’s. It was so good!! It covered how her dad started Post cereal, Postum, etc and how Marjorie kept building the empire. She was a very smart business woman and I enjoyed her success story, Ali g trials and tribulations. Great read!
I wasn’t sure about our first book club book but it turned out to be a favorite. It was different from just books I read so I liked that. It was interesting and kept your attention. Highly recommend.
This was a cute and heartwarming story. Mrs Harris was quirky but endearing. It also showed the good in others, which was nice. It was an easy read and I enjoyed it. The movie we watched was very cute and made you feel good.
