My Reviews

Magpie Murders: A Novel by Anthony Horowitz

Brilliant, Interesting, Slow

I chose confusing only due to have so many characters and twists - it kept me on my toes!

Informative, Interesting, Dark

I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the murders with the exposition. This book was so well researched, and the many pieces of “Americana” in our common lore today that originated in the exposition was surprising!

The Mosquito Coast by Paul Theroux

Adventurous, Informative, Dark

Informative, Inspiring, Interesting

I really enjoyed this book! I hadn’t known about the WPA Pack Horse Librarians program and only had a vague awareness of the blue people. Cussy really brought the beauty and the trials of both to light.
