Our club was spilt down the middle on this book. Overall, I think we would say it is okay, but definitely not in our top ten. It did bring up some interesting religious factors. Our group is rather diverse when it comes to religon, so that made for an interesting discussion.
Everyone in our club enjoyed this book - it was unanimous! It was interesting, informative and even though, a quite serious topic, it was often funny. I really enjoyed the author's writing and look forward to more books written by her.
All of us thoroughly enjoyed this book and it was a nice change from some of the books we typically read. It's akin to a murder-mystery. It was slow to start, but if you can hang in there, it definitely pays off. The story of the author is also interesting and I encourage you to look it up.
I enjoyed this second book in the "trilogy". It didn't take as long to get into as the first one and had lots of adventure. What I truly enjoy about these books are the several story lines going on at once - especially the character development. I 'm anxious to now watch the movie!
We found this book to be very informative and interesting. We enjoyed the author's writing, who told a story along with the facts. A must read for all generations!
This book grabbed from the beginning. Excellent writing and an interesting story. You can't help but wonder "What would I do"? The end was a little disappointing, but I enjoyed the entire book overall.
